When people are angry (Which, clearly I am) they tend to spew. Acid, fire, just ugliness. I'm not spewing...I'm finally releasing.
I was no longer a "Gauthier", I was now a "Holloran" and...I hated it instantly.
You and I both know that we also hear/feel things that we often justify or make excuses for. Maybe we don't want to believe it. Maybe we think it's easier to just not deal with it. Either way, those are called gut instincts and they shouldn't be ignored.
When someone literally hands you a FREE place to live and you take a dump on it, whose fault is it?
You would never expect this behavior or response from a "man" who's supposed to be your father. I guess this is what you call PERSPECTIVE.
This is where honesty begins offering caregiver support, reflection, and truth for those who have lived it or are living it now.
